Questo mobile raggiunge il completamento quando tre pezzi delle parti a forma di “V” sono attaccati a un’unica linea di filo che pende dal soffitto. Il filo viene piegato in un certo numero di punti lungo il percorso dal peso delle parti e si rivela come una linea angolata nel suo insieme. È un Mobil in cui la gravità dispiega la propria forma.
DRILL DESIGN è uno studio di design fondato da YUSUKE HAYASHI e YOKO YASUNISHI nel 2001. Hanno diretto vari progetti di product design e si sono occupati anche di graphic design, packaging design e interior design. DRILL DESIGN ricerca nuove possibilità attraverso le sue creazioni basate sul concetto che il design non è un obiettivo ma uno strumento per creare il futuro.
This mobile reaches completion as three pieces of the “V”-shaped parts are attached to a single line of thread hanging from the ceiling. The thread is bent at a number of points along the way by the weight of the parts and reveals itself as an angled line as a whole. It’s a mobile in which the gravity unfolds its own shape.
DRILL DESIGN is a design studio founded by YUSUKE HAYASHI and YOKO YASUNISHI in 2001.
